Lil Nas X responded to homophobic comments he received over the weekend after releasing his new music video "Industry Baby."

Nas X, 22, slammed a Twitter user on Sunday who called him a "super spreader" causing AIDS to young men.

"Y’all be silent as hell when ni--as dedicate their entire music catalog to rapping about sleeping with multiple women," the singer replied. "But when I do anything remotely sexual I’m “being sexually irresponsible” & “causing more men to die from aids” y’all hate gay ppl and don’t hide it."

The singer dropped his music video on July 23 after releasing a teaser featuring himself playing all the main characters including the judge, the defendant, and the gay client.

Another user tweeted that Nas X's new video shows "the black males are extra feminine and the white male is cool with the girl in jail lol I mean cmon now this is so obvious … the emasculation and attack on black men are so disrespectful."

The singer requoted the tweet to clarify that there is "no attack" in the first place. "You view femininity as weakness. you don’t like gay black men because you are afraid of black men, as a whole, being viewed as weak. you cling on to your masculinity because without it you have nothing else going for yourself."

In a now-deleted tweet, one of the users said the singer should follow the footsteps of other queer artists and be less open about being gay.

The singer replied that those artists "had to hide their sexuality for the majority of their career. you seem to only respect gay artists when the gay part is tucked away. you don’t like me because I embrace my sexuality instead of hiding it and never speaking on it for your comfort."

The singer has been making headlines about his sexuality since June 30, 2019, when he publicly revealed being gay. Previously, the singer came under fire after he kissed a male dancer passionately on stage during his performance last month at BET Awards.
