Lil Wayne, Eminem Remember Their Song Lyrics By Doing This Unexpected Thing
Over the years, Lil Wayne and Eminem fans have become accustomed to the quick wordplay they both utilize in their songs. However, having such an extensive catalog can cause problems down the road when it comes to remembering all of the lyrics. During a recent appearance on "Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne" on Apple Music, the "Godzilla" rapper discussed this unique issue with Wayne and found out that they both rely on a specific tactic when it comes to recalling their musical histories.
According to People, the "Lollipop" musician revealed that he has frequently had to google his own lyrics when creating new music in order to make sure that he is not repeating himself.
"I literally bro, when I'm doing something, if you look through my phone history with my Google history and you press ‘L,’ first thing that will come up is Lil Wayne lyrics," he said in the Apple series, adding, "I literally have to google my lyrics to make sure I didn’t say something before."
"Oh my god! I swear to god I do that too," Eminem replied.
The response then prompted Wayne to add, "Man, that’s how long we’ve been doing this [expletive]."
Eminem, who recently debuted his new studio album titled "Funeral," also used his time on the radio show to reveal that he plans to donate $250,000 to his charity, the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which supports disadvantaged youths in Detroit. Later, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey also appeared on the show to say that he would add $750,000 to bring the total to "a cool $1 million."
Aside from the aforementioned joint appearance, the two rappers have also been mentioned in the news throughout the past year for various reasons. Lil Wayne, who co-headlined a 2019 tour with rock band Blink-182, had threatened to quit after the crowd at a certain stop was not up to his standards. For his part, Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, revealed that he had been investigated by the Secret Service after a specific lyric caused concern about the safety of President Donald Trump and First Daughter Ivanka Trump.
