Wayne's last album, I Am Not a Human Being, was released in September 2010, while he was still in jail. The album went on to sell more than 900,000 copies in the U.S. and was later certified gold.
Lil Wayne is in the middle of a U.S. tour with Rick Ross, Keri Hilson and Far East Movement. The rapper is also scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, alongside Bruno Mars, Adele and Chris Brown.
