Lily James, Dominic West's Alleged Romance Compared To Kristen Stewart, Rupert Sanders Affair

Fans are comparing Lily James’ rumored romance with a married actor, Dominic West, to Kristen Stewart’s scandal with director Rupert Sanders.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed West and James, who are currently filming a mini-series in England titled “The Pursuit Of Love,” looking cozy in Italy on Sunday.

While James, 31, is single, West, 50, has been married to landscape designer Catherine FitzGerald, 49, for 10 years and shares four children with her. The status of West and FitzGerald's relationship is currently unknown as the actor was not wearing a wedding ring over the weekend, E! News reported.

Neither actors have commented on the photos.

Shortly after the photos surfaced, fans took to Twitter and commented on James and West's outing, with some likening it to the affair involving Stewart and her married “Snow White And The Huntsman” director, Sanders.

"This is Kstew/Rupert Sanders 2.0," one netizen wrote.

“This has real Kristen Stewart cheating on R Patz with Rupert Sanders energy,” another commented on photos of James and West.

A third Twitter user wrote, “How about ppl talk about Dominic West who has a wife and family and not Lily James? If he doesn’t care about them why would anyone else? This is the Kristen Stewart/ Rupert Sanders train wreck ALL OVER AGAIN.”

Back in 2012, Stewart was spotted kissing Sanders, who was married to model Liberty Ross at the time. Stewart was also in a relationship with her “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson. The actress later apologized publicly to Pattinson after the photos of her and Sanders went viral.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” Stewart said in the statement, People reported.

Although Stewart and Pattinson tried to make their relationship work, they went their separate ways shortly after the scandal.

Ross also split from Sanders after he was photographed packing on PDA with Stewart.
