Lily James Spotted With Dominic Cooper A Month After Dominic West Scandal

A month after she was caught getting cozy with Dominic West, Lily James stepped out with Dominic Cooper, her friend and “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” co-star.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed Cooper and James walking toward a car outside Lemonia Greek restaurant in London on Monday. She tried to stay low-key by keeping her head low as her companion, who was holding a bottle of wine, followed her out of the eatery.

“Lily had a business dinner at Lemonia with Dominic Cooper and another friend on Monday night,” an unnamed eyewitness told E! News of the outing. “They all seemed friendly and to get on well. Lily sat across the table from Dominic and they shared a bottle of wine and Greek food. When they finished eating, they sat around laughing and chatting for awhile.”

“At 10 p.m. the restaurant closed and they were the last to leave,” the source added. “They all left together and got into the back of a cab.”

This comes a month after controversial photos of James and West canoodling made the rounds on the internet. The snaps were taken in Rome and showed the “Pursuit of Love” co-stars kissing and embracing.

West is married to Catherine FitzGerald, and they share four kids. After his PDA-packed outing with James, the 51-year-old and his wife told reporters that they are still very much together, squashing split rumors.

“Our marriage is strong and we’re very much still together. Thank you,” West wrote in a note obtained by Us Weekly.

James kept mum when the photos went viral and has yet to address the affair rumors. But an unnamed source claimed to Us Weekly last month that she and West’s wife “were both horrified by the pictures.”

“Dominic and his wife wanted to put up a united front,” the insider added.

Since the scandal broke, James has kept a low profile and even canceled her appearance on the “Today” show. She and Armie Hammer were supposed to promote their Netflix film, “Rebecca,” but pulled out.

Another tipster told Us Weekly in a separate report that West and James were “flirtatious” on the set of the BBC One series “Pursuit of Love,” where they play a father and daughter. The insider said that the stars spent a lot of time together.

“Dominic didn’t seem to be trying to hide the fact that he was attracted to her. The way Dominic was carrying on with Lily people assumed that he was allowed to stray from his marriage,” the source added.

A number of social media users likened James and West’s scandal to that of Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders, who was married to Liberty Ross when PDA photos of him and the actress surfaced. But the snaps of the “Snow White and The Huntsman” filmmaker and star kissing and embracing were enough to break his marriage.
