Lindsay Lohan Accused Of Battery: Actress Claims She Was Home Watching TV

Lindsay Lohan has only been off of probation for a few weeks, but it seems trouble may have found her again. Lohan is being accused of getting into an altercation with a woman at a night club last week and the woman has filed a police report with the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department. The woman claims that Lohan became physical with her because she did not like her talking to one of her male friends. She claims Lohan began pushing and shoving her.

However, Lohan is claiming that the altercation could have never happened because she was home that night. Sources told TMZ that Lohan has been catching up on the Showtime series Homeland and was in that night watching it. The source also says that the most recent charges have really upset Lohan because even when she is home she gets in trouble.

Now it seems the allegations may be a set up. TMZ spoke with six people at the hotel the night of the alleged incident and none of them could recall that Lohan was at the hotel and they didn't even here whispers that she was there or that an incident occurred. The alleged victim says she has the bruises to prove it.

The sheriff's department has said they are investigating the incident like they would with any other complaint, but Lohan's rep has released a statement refuting it.

Lindsay was absolutely not involved in any sort of altercation whatsoever, Steve Honig said. This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame.
