Lindsay Lohan Denies Hit And Run Charges! Were Drugs To Blame?

Lindsay Lohan has supposedly been cleaning up her act. The 25-year-old actress has been attempting a comeback by complying with her court-ordered community service and leaving her hard-partying ways behind. While her Saturday Night Live hosting gig was supposed to portray her in a favorable light, she drew criticism for apparently forgetting many of her lines. Her recent talk show appearances, which were intended to salvage her reputation, have instead led to talk of plastic surgery. Now Lohan is in the news yet again for allegedly hitting a hookah lounge manager with her car.

Lohan called the accusation a complete lie. The victim claims that his knee was scraped when Lohan's car struck him and drove away. His statement was refuted by Lohan on her Twitter:

Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I've been at community service. Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn't even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi. These false accusations are absurd.

Nonetheless, the man is said to be pressing charges and Lohan opted not to drive herself from community service today and instead climbed into the passenger seat of the black Porsche she was driving during the incident. Lohan's previous auto disasters stemmed from excessive drug use. Over the past four years, she has been pulled over multiple times and was found to be high on cocaine and other drugs. Since Lohan must comply with random drug tests, it's likely that illegal drugs did not play a role in the accident, however major or minor.
