Is Lindsay Lohan In ‘Life-Size 2’? Sequel Spoilers
It’s been 18 years since an Eve doll first came to life in 2000’s “Life-Size,” but now she’s ready to jump back into some human legs with Freeform’s “Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve.”
While Tyra Banks is reprising her role as the doll-come-to-life, Lindsay Lohan won’t be in the Freeform sequel as little Casey all grown up, despite Banks trying her best to make it happen.
“[Lohan] has this new TV show on MTV about this club so she couldn’t make it, which was sad,” Banks told The Hollywood Reporter. “[She] will be in the movie in some kind of way. We’ll see where that ends up.”
Although the “Mean Girls” star won’t actually appear in Sunday’s premiere of the Christmas movie, she’ll still be honored in some way.
“She’s gonna be in this one in a way,” Banks said on “The Talk” on Friday. “There’s some Lindsay in there sprinkled in a very special, sweet way.”
This time around, instead of Lohan’s Casey getting a surprise visit from a real-life Eve doll, it’ll be Francia Raisa’s Grace getting the new houseguest.
“Grace Manning (Raisa) is the 20-something CEO of Marathon Toys, a huge toy company started by her mother that is most famous for manufacturing the iconic Eve doll,” the synopsis begins. “Grace is also in the middle of her quarter-life crisis, realizing she is in over her head as CEO. To make matters worse, her wild-child ways are causing the company’s stock to plummet. With the help of her young next-door neighbor, Grace’s old Eve doll (Banks) magically awakens to help get Grace back on track and give her the confidence to be the woman and leader Eve knows Grace can be.”
The movie cast also includes Gavin Stenhouse, Shanica Knowles, Hank Chen and Alison Fernandez. Banks also served as executive producer on the film, along with Stephanie Allain. It was written by Cameron Fay and Stacey Harman and directed by Steven K. Tsuchida.
“Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve” premieres on Sunday on Freeform at 9 p.m. EST
