Lindsay Lohan's Playboys photos will get an early release because the cover and the photo spreads were leaked online, Hugh Hefner confirmed on Friday.

Because of the interest & the Internet leak, we're releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early, Hefner tweeted on Friday.

Lindsay Lohan was the top search name on the Internet yesterday, he later added. Her issue goes on sale late next week. Hot. Hot. Hot.

Hefner, who is publisher and founder of Playboy, made the announcement days after the January-February spread and cover leaked, creating major online buzz that landed Lohan at the top of the trending tops for days.

But Hefner didn't seem to worried that the photos were leaked before the intended date on Dec. 15 on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The Lindsay Lohan pictorial has been leaked on the Internet & is causing a sensation, he tweeted after the incident.

Hefner later added that The Lindsay Lohan issue of Playboy is going to be a true Collector's Edition.

The Playboy founder is already getting compliment regarding the upcoming issue.
