Lindsay Lohan Travels To Bali To Write ‘True Story’ Book, Shares Snaps Of Vacation On Instagram
Lindsay Lohan is back to writing after releasing her memoir in October. The “Mean Girls” star is spending her vacation in Bali, Indonesia, but one couldn’t count this as a total getaway since the actress herself revealed that she’s penning a new book while enjoying some time away.
On Sunday, Lohan took to Instagram to share with her millions of followers snaps from her Bali trip. In one of the photos, Lohan could be seen lying on the grassy ground of Seseh Beach Villas — a contemporary-styled private resort fronting the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. Based on her caption, Lohan is enjoying the silence there, since it is helping her with her writing. For the former Disney child star, the moment of silence “leads you to greatness with a lot of stories to tell.”
In another picture, Lohan is joined by a friend in seizing a moment of “peace” and “serenity.” She also revealed in her caption that she’s writing a true story. She also shared a pic of the resort and left her fans some words of wisdom for the day, saying that they should appreciate the beauty of all the good things in life.
Prior to her vacation, Lohan uploaded a video apology on Instagram after failing to show up in the town of Kettering. Lohan was supposed to attend an event there to turn on the Christmas lights of the town’s big tree. The Daily Edge learned that the Kettering Borough Council repeatedly tried to contact Lohan’s management until Thursday, but they failed to get a response.
In her video apology, Lohan explained that she couldn’t visit the town because of her busy schedule, but she said that she really appreciated the offer they extended to her. “Hi everyone in Kettering, it’s Lindsay Lohan. I really wanted to make it there to light the tree, but with my busy schedule I wasn’t able to, and I appreciate the offer. Happy Holidays,” Lindsay says in the clip.
Despite her apology, British politician and a Member of the Parliament Philip Hollobone told the BBC that Lohan’s no-show was “a big disappointment.” He also pointed out that they were really hopeful that Lohan would come to their town. "I think that when you're an international celebrity who says you're going to do something then people expect you to do it. I think most of us thought that she wouldn't actually come but I think there was a little bit of all of us that hoped she would,” Hollobone added.
Meanwhile, it seems that Ariana Grande’s fans are still not done hating on Lohan after the London-based actress trolled the “Side-to-Side” songstress for wearing “too much makeup” in the photos she shared on social media. In Lohan’s latest posts, Arianators are still flooding the comments with “too much drugs” remarks among other negative statements.
