List Of Highly Anticipated Movies Releasing In 2023
There are several highly-anticipated movies lined up for the upcoming year, 2023, from Marvel films to popular horror franchises like "Scream 6." So, get ready to be entertained on the below-mentioned dates.
January to March
"M3GAN" is a Marvel movie based on artificial intelligence, releasing in theaters on Jan. 6. It will once again treat fans with another release, "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," scheduled for Feb. 17.
Aside from Marvel, "80 for Brady" is also coming to entertain you on Feb. 3. The flick will star football quarterback Tom Brady alongside Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Sally Field. Channing Tatum's starring "Magic Mike's Last Dance" will drop on Feb. 10.
Horror comedy, "Cocaine Bear" is coming out on Feb. 24, while "Scream VI" will release on March 10. In March, DC will release its first 2023 movie, "Shazam! Fury of the Gods," on March 17. Keanu Reeves' fans will finally get to see the fourth installment of "John Wick" after three years on March 24.
Regé-Jean Page and Chris Pine starring "Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" is slated to release on March 31.
April to June
Here's the third Marvel release for the year, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," which will mark the end of the trilogy. The movie is slated to release on May 5. Disney's highly anticipated live-action fantasy movie, "The Little Mermaid," will drop on May 26.
If you are fond of watching animated movies, then "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" is going to be a perfect pick for you, especially if you are a Marvel fan too. It will be released in theaters on June 2.
Animation studio Pixar is all set to release, "Elemental" on June 16, while "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," starring Harrison Ford, is scheduled for June 30. Chris Hemsworth's starring "Extraction 2" will release directly on the streaming giant Netflix in June.
July to September
Margot Robbie's "Barbie" will be released in theaters on July 21.
October to December
The much-anticipated sequel, "Dune: Part Two" will be available in theaters on Nov. 3, featuring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh and Austin Butler.
Chalamet will return with his charm on Dec. 15 with "Wonka," which focuses on a popular fictional character named Willy Wonka's younger days. The musical drama, "The Color Purple," starring Taraji P. Henson and Halle Bailey, will release on Dec. 20 in theaters.
"Beau Is Afraid," "Napoleon," and "Killers of the Flower Moon" is also slated to release next year, but the release dates are yet to be announced.
