The recent 4-0 drubbing of Liverpool over Crystal Palace has the Reds in position to take the Premier League title. As the club is inches away from winning the championship, Brazilian sensation Fabinho’s impact was evident in the recent match.

During Liverpool’s home matchup against Crystal Palace, several players stepped up to the occasion. One of these was Mohamed Salah who was phenomenal with the way he was moving around the pitch. His presence was definitely felt as he was commanding the pace of the match the entire time. Alongside the Egyptian star was Fabinho who facilitated the tempo from the midfield with his precise passing and endless energy, as Liverpool emerged easily on top.

Their dominance in the game was a reflection of how their Premier League season has been. It has been 30 years for Liverpool since won a top-flight title and they’ve been hungry to deliver for their loyal fan base. But with the dominance that Liverpool has recently displayed, it’s pretty clear that the Reds are on pace to win it all as they’re only two points away from securing the title.

As manager Jurgen Klopp shared with Sky Sports by way of BBC, the team was cohesive in their victory despite the current situation.

"Imagine how this stadium would have been full today and all the people could have experienced it live,” Klopp said.

"I don't think the game could have been better because my boys played like everybody was in the stadium. The atmosphere on the pitch was incredible. That was the best counter-pressing game I have ever seen,” Klopp added.

With players such as Salah and Fabinho elevating their game and showing everyone what their team is capable of, it will only be a matter of time until Liverpool secures history for their followers.

"The boys are in good shape and in a good mood and it was important we showed our supporters we are still here and we do not want to wait," Klopp concluded.
