A former La Liga club captain’s wife made a shocking revelation about what happens behind closed doors.

Tamara Gorro is a Spanish model and television star, but more importantly, she is a wife to former Valencia captain Ezequiel Garay.

Both have been married since 2012 and have two beautiful children. However, Tamara recently revealed that she might have been lacking intimacy and doesn’t want to make love with his husband on a regular basis anymore.

"If you ask me if I still have the same sexual appetite as before then my answer is 'no'," Gorro revealed during a recent podcast appearance (via Marca). "I don't know if it's because of a lack of time or lack of desire, but the truth is that 'no', I don't have it. That's how it is.”

"I love my husband [Garay], but I don't want to have sex with him everyday as I'm exhausted,” she added. "I think a lot of people would relate to me in that."

As Garay’s intimate relationship with his wife turns gloomy, his sporting career appears to be resurging.

It can be recalled that Garay has been a free agent since June of last year after La Liga side Valencia decided to release him. However, recent reports stated that English Premier League's Liverpool is willing to give him another chance.

The 34-year-old could see himself joining the Reds as the club is now closing in on his transfer, Spanish outlet El Gol Digital reported. International Business Times could not independently verify this information.

Garay on a free transfer and is touted as a suitable alternative for injured star center-back Virgil van Dijk.

Despite not playing for any major league for months, the Argentine still has an impressive resume, having played in three European top-flight leagues such as Spain’s La Liga, Portugal’s Primeira Liga and England’s Premier League.

Aside from previously leading Valencia, Garay also had his best seasons with Portuguese side Benfica where he started in all of the matches he played in for three consecutive seasons.

Atop his club football achievements, Garay is likewise a veteran in international competitions, having won 32 caps for Argentina. In addition, he played a key figure in the country’s 2014 World Cup bid.

The veteran defender is known for his versatility, having been able to function as a center-back and a right-back his entire professional career.
