Locklear’s New Boyfriend: Who is Heather Locklear’s New Boyfriend, Dr. Marc Mani? [VIDEO]

Former "Melrose Place” bad girl has a new boy toy. Actress Heather Locklear is allegedly dating Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Marc Mani; The New York Post is reporting Monday that the duo are officially an item.

The surgeon, not as well known as Locklear, did appear on the TLC reality show documentary “Plastic Surgery: Beverly Hills” that first premiered in 2004, starring in 10 episodes of the short-lived series.

Love is allegedly not the only reason Locklear, who has been known to date musicians, is engaged in the recent courtship, the unidentified source telling Page Six that Dr. Mani’s profession is proving beneficial for the 51-year-old star.

“He’s also helpful for getting some work done,” said the source.

The doctor commented on celebrity procedures on “Plastic Surgery: Beverly Hills," saying that he considers it important to discourage his famous clients from having unnecessary procedures.

“The pressure on me exists to explain to them that perfection may not be possible,” he said. “It’s really tough to work on beautiful woman all day long. It’s tough … but someone’s got to do it.”

Dr. Mani is not only a medical professional, The Harvard graduate was also nominated as Extra-TV's “American’s Most Eligible Bachelor” in 2008 before meeting his now-rumored love.

“I want someone who has a fire inside like I think I do,” said Dr. Mani, describing himself as a perfectionist. “I prefer the sexy black dress but jeans and a T-shirt are fine too. I like someone who is comfortable in both and out of both,” he said.

Locklear split from her fiance of four years and “Melrose Place” co-star, Jack Wagner, in 2011. Locklear gave no reason for the split, appearing on the black carpet of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1,” sans engagement ring.

The actress was previously married to Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee, before splitting in the early 1990s. Locklear divorced Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sombora, in 2007. The couple have one daughter together, Ava Elizabeth Sambora.
