Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones, who made worldwide news when she recently announced she was a virgin, wants to take New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow to Church with her.

Jones, appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, talked about her virginity and how she is interested on going out on a date with another famous virgin.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to just invite (Tim) Tebow to church, Jones told Jay Leno. It is a 100 percent way to not get rejected. Totally just going to invite him to Church.

Comedian Louis C.K. couldn't pass on an opportunity to make a job about a Jones-Tebow relationship, saying, That would be a great tape too, if you sold it.

Leno told C.K. to knock it off, but he added in, I'm just saying it'd be very popular.

Jones told HBO Sports in May that she is still a virgin and that her desire to wait until after marriage to have sex has made it difficult for her to find a suitable boyfriend.

It's just something, a gift that I want to give to my husband, Jones told HBO's Real Sports. But please, understand, this journey has been hard.

If there's virgins out there, I'm going to let them know, it's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life - harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college, has been to stay a virgin before marriage.

She admitted to Leno that she has gotten a lot of attention about the program, but that she's still single. Right now she is focused on competing in the 2012 London Olympics in July and doesn't have time to answer all of the requests for a date she gets on Twitter.

Perhaps when she gets back from the Olympics she can go out on a date with Tebow. The Jets backup quarterback has remained mum on the subject, but Jets Pro Bowl center Nick Mangold is doing his best to set the pair up.

This is now my new goal, this is how I'm going to spend my spring. Usually I try to do a little golfing, but that isn't going so well. Now it's matchmaking.

Mangold was rebuffed by Jones in a previous attempt to set the two up via Twitter, though. Mangold tweeted, I'm trying to get @timtebow to accept that he and @lolojones are a match made in heaven. #lobow,

Jones responded by claiming she had heard Tebow actually had a girlfriend.

Thanks Nick but I actually heard tebow has a girlfriend he just isn't saying it publicly. The search continues....
