Long Branch, New Jersey Shooting: Multiple Casualties, Suspect Reportedly Used AK-47
UPDATE 3:15 a.m. EST — WRC-TV reported the teenager was expected to be charged for killing four family members, including his mother and grandmother. The other two killed were a juvenile female and an adult male. Their relationship to the 16-year-old suspect, however, was not clear.
UPDATE 2:22 a.m. EST: Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office tweeted saying 4 people were dead in an isolated domestic incident and there was no threat to the public.
UPDATE 2:19 a.m. EST — NBC news affiliate WRC-TV citing law enforcement sources said 4 people died in the shooting. The suspect who was taken into custody is thought to be a 16-year-old.

Multiple people were reportedly shot in Long Branch, New Jersey, and the suspect was taken into custody after an active shooting situation.
According to local publication the Lakewood Scoop, at least three people were shot by the suspect, who was reportedly using what was thought to be an AK-47 in the shooting at 635 Wall Street.
At least one person was said to be in a critical state and paramedics were responding to the scene.
