Bill Xiang, Founder of Lorde + Belle, one of the fastest-growing skincare brands in the US, is celebrating his 15th year in the beauty industry. Xiang has created a multinational cosmetics operation, spanning China, South Korea, and the United States.

Xiang hails from the city of Wenzhou in China, and he was born to a poor family. At a young age, he began working to help support his family and finish his studies. After finishing college, he became an independent sales representative for a factory. There, he leveraged his skills in English to help the factory sell $30 million worth of products in two years, catering mostly to overseas customers. This helped Xiang lift his family out of poverty and allowed him to explore more avenues in his entrepreneurial journey.

According to Xiang, he tried out several businesses, including design and electronics, but it was in beauty that he found his niche. He founded a manufacturing company, of cosmetics and skincare products, and the company grew rapidly, expanding out of its original base in Wenzhou to Shanghai, China's financial and commercial capital. After a few years, Xiang brought his business overseas, targeting South Korea, which is well-known for its vibrant and internationally known beauty industry. Then began manufacturing products for major international cosmetics brands, demonstrating its technical capabilities that have impressed leading industry entities.

Seven years ago, Xiang and his family emigrated to the US, settling in California, where he further expanded his business' manufacturing and distribution network. Later on, Xiang decided to create his own brands, harnessing the experience he gained over the years. He created Lorde + Belle on the principle of effective skincare, working with in-house and external experts to formulate high-tech, safety-conscious, and superior-performance products.
