Lori Harvey's mom has broken her silence after news of her daughter's breakup from Michael B. Jordan surfaced.
On Monday, Marjorie Harvey, the third wife of Steve Harvey, shared a cryptic video message from actress Jennifer Lewis on her Instagram Stories.
"You sit in s--t too long, it stops smelling," Lewis said in the six-second clip, E! News reported. "So come the f--k outta there."
It is unclear what Marjorie was referring to, but her post came not long after news broke that her daughter Lori, 25, and the "Black Panther" actor, 35, had called it quits after a year and a half of dating.
"Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken," an unnamed insider told People. "They still love each other."
The tipster did not provide the reason for the breakup but said that Jordan "matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term" before they parted ways.
In a separate report, an unnamed source close to Lori told People that the model and influencer "wasn't ready to commit."
"She is very focused on her career," the insider said of the founder and CEO of SKN By Lori Harvey.
Lori "realized that they weren't on the same page" when she and her ex-boyfriend "were making plans for their future," according to the source.
"She still wants to have fun and be free," the insider continued. "Michael is a great guy. She is sad that their relationship didn't work out, but she is moving on."
Lori has since deleted all photos of Jordan from her Instagram and appears unfazed by the split. She shared sexy selfies on her Instagram Stories Monday. In the snaps, she rocked a cream-colored top and long leopard-print skirt while celebrating a friend's baby shower.
Her father confirmed the split on Monday's episode of "The Steve Harvey Morning Show."
"I'm team Lori, 1,000%. She's my daughter. I love her, I support her," the 65-year-old comedian said.
Steve went on to note that Lori and Jordan's breakup was amicable. "Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends...I ain't heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing," he added. "As long as you don't put your hands on my daughter, I don't give a damn what you do."
