The Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers will meet for the first time this season with the two clubs set to collide at the United Center on Tuesday, January 31.
The Bulls are coming off a win over the Orland Magic, while the Clippers dropped their last assignment to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Clippers lost to the Cavaliers with Kawhi Leonard and Pau George watching from the sidelines.
In their place, Los Angeles was led by Brandon Boston Jr., who had 24 points and three assists coming off the bench. Amir Coffey chipped in 18 markers and four boards.
Leonard and George were not fielded due to right knee issues, while Reggie Jackson also did not suit up due to a sore right Achilles.
On the other side, the Bulls are hoping to ride on the momentum of their 128-109 win over the Magic against the Clippers.
Zach LaVine dropped 32 points and had three rebounds in that victory. DeMar DeRozan also had 32 markers alongside eight dimes.
"In the Charlotte game, we never responded," coach Billy Donovan stated. "The encouraging part is we did respond (tonight). I think it's good that we had that. ... Being pressed against it, we needed a game where we could respond and come out on the winning side."
The Bulls are averaging 114.5 points per contest and have an offensive rating of 112.7.
On the defensive side, Chicago is surrendering 114.5 points per contest.
The Clippers are -3 spread favorites to prevail over the Bulls, who are at +3.
Meanwhile, the moneyline set for this matchup is -161 for Los Angeles and +115 for Chicago.
The game will be telecast over NBC Sports Chicago with live streaming available via the NBA League Pass at 8:00 PM ET.
