Los Angeles Kings vs. New Jersey Devils Live Stream: Preview, Prediction, And Where To Watch Wednesday's Stanley Cup Finals Game Four
The Los Angeles Kings can close out one of the most improbable Stanley Cup runs ever tonight when the take on the New Jersey Devils in game 4 of their best of seven series from the Staples Center.
The Kings find themselves up 3-0 in the series thanks to their incredible defense and the otherworldly goaltending of Jonathan Quick.
Quick has thus far stopped 70 of the 72 shots he has faced over the first three games, allowing the Kings to get overtime wins in games one and two before blowing the roof off with a 4-0 win in game four.
Quick had 22 saves in the shutout on Monday night and he looked calm and efficient doing it. The Devils had some chances, but Quick never looked like he would be beaten.
The Devils have been dealt some hard luck in the series. They mustered 32 shots in game two, many of them prime scoring chances, but they were frustrated again and again.
The last time the Devils were on the ice a crowd of more than 18,000 hockey-mad Los Angelinos was raining chants of we want the cup, down on their heads. The next time they take the ice they may have to watch those same fans celebrate a title.
To prevent that the Devils need to find a way to score and they are out of opportunities. Their big guns like Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise must be firing on all cylinders if the Devils are to get back into this series.
Where to watch: The game can be viewed online at FirstRowSports. It will also be broadcast nationally on the NBC Sports Network at 8 p.m. ET.
Prediction: Los Angeles broke New Jersey with their emphatic game four win. The Devils looked defeated as they skated off the ice and they won't be able to turn in around facing an 0-3 hole in a hostile building.
Predicted Score: Los Angeles over New Jersey 3-0
