Ryo Mizushima wants to become the best badminton player and joins his middle school's badminton team. But without a coach, he can hardly climb the ladder.
In "Love All Play" Episode 1, Ryo gets a chance to be part of the prestigious Yokohama Minato High School's badminton team.
He gets an experienced coach for the first time. This is the journey of a high schooler pushing himself to become one of the finest athletes in the world.
"Ryo Mizushima dreams of being the best badminton player in the world. But despite his natural athleticism and skill — he's only been able to get so far without a reliable coach. However, everything changes when his talent gets him scouted by one of the most prestigious high school badminton teams. Now, with a pro coach and an elite team to back him up — it's finally time for Ryo's journey to soar," read the official "Love All Play" anime synopsis, according to Crunchyroll.
The cast of the anime includes Natsuki Hanae as Ryō Mizushima, Kazuya Nakai as Hitoshi Ebihara, Kensho Ono as Taichi Higashiyama, Makoto Furukawa as Kо̄ki Matsuda, Masaya Matsukaze as Shizuo Nakano, Minako Kotobuki as Rika Mizushima, Shimba Tsuchiya as Hiroto Kadota, Tetsuya Kakihara as Yо̄ji Higashiyama, Yōhei Azakami as Shо̄hei Sakaki and Yuuki Kaji as Akira Uchida.
The series is directed by Hiroshi Takeuchi and produced by Nippon Animation and OLM. The series composition is by Tomoko Konparu. "Love All Play" is based on an original story by Asami Koseki.
The anime's scripting is handled by Miharu Hirami, Michiko Yokote, Shingo Irie and Tomoko Konparu. Yuki Hayashi is taking care of the music. Scott MacDonald is the art director, while Mai Kuwabara, Taka Sato, Yasukazu Shoji, Shinobu Ookawa and Riko Kaneda are the chief animation directors.
The opening theme song of "Love All Play," titled "Hey! Say! JUMP," is performed by Takayuki Ogawa. The ending theme, "Lyra," is performed by LONGMAN.
"Love All Play" Episode 1 is scheduled to debut this Saturday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The episode will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
