'Love Is Blind' Star Jessica Batten Shades Ex Mark Cuevas Amid Cheating Allegations
"Love Is Blind" alum Mark Cuevas has found himself in quite the pickle and his ex, Jessica Batten, had a few words to say about it.
Fans of the Netflix series know that Jessica and Mark were one of the couples that met and formed a relationship over the course of the show, however, unlike some of their fellow cast members, they didn't tie the knot at the end of the experience and instead went their separate ways.
Since then, not much has been heard from either half of the former couple -- that is until it was blasted over the internet that Mark had forged a relationship with another "Love Is Blind" participant, Lauren "LC" Chamblin, and allegedly cheated on her. When E! News reported on the allegations, Jessica chimed in, seemingly surprised not that Mark cheated, but that it was with more than one person.

"Mark was sleeping with MULTIPLE women at the studio he trained at DURING the show," one fan claimed, according to the entertainment news outlet. "Maybe show those interviews with his workers next time @Netflix."
"Wow. News to me, I only know about one," Jessica commented.
Mark and LC have since split and have each said their piece about the situation.
"I enjoyed spending time with LC for a few weeks, but at no point were we in an exclusive relationship, as LC confirmed herself," Mark explained. "I wish her the absolute best."

In a statement, LC echoed the same sentiment but with a few extra details.
"Mark and I were casually dating, but talked about remaining exclusive, especially because of COVID-19, but that's over now," she said. "The main thing I learned from the show and past relationships is that I deserve to be treated like a priority, and not an option."
LC's journey as a contestant wasn't really followed on Season 1 of "Love Is Blind" but now that's she's single again, perhaps she'll be able to give it another try because the phenom Netflix series was renewed for two more seasons.
"It's been incredible to see Netflix members everywhere respond to the raw, authentic stories of real people and real stakes," Brandon Riegg, Netflix Vice President of Nonfiction Series and Comedy Specials, shared in a statement.
"We pride ourselves on creating a favorite show for any taste, and we're thrilled fans embraced all of these series with such enthusiasm and shared passion. We look forward to sparking more joy for our members."
