‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Star Stevie J Calls Faith Evans His ‘Best Friend’ Amid Dating Rumors [PHOTO]
Are Stevie J and Faith Evans just really close friends? The pair has sparked dating rumors recently after spending some time together and making frequent appearances on each other’s Instagram pages, but a new post could give some insight into the extent of their relationship — or friendship.
Late Sunday night, Evans re-posted one of Stevie’s Instagram photos of them smiling at the camera. The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star captioned the image: “When your best friend makes you smile @therealfaithevans.” The picture is no longer on Stevie’s Instagram account, but it is still up on Evans’ page.
It’s been rumored for weeks that Stevie and Evans are an item. Neither has addressed the dating speculation, but continue to fuel the rumors by often posting pictures of each other. Last week, Evans shared side-by-side photos of her and Stevie in Tampa, Florida, together. In one image, the pair is seen smiling at the camera and in the second picture it appears that Stevie is leaning in for a kiss. “Well I guess it’s Oooouuuu (in my Young MA voice),” Evans captioned the photo, leading some fans to believe that she was confirming the relationship. “#TiptoeinginTampa with @hitmansteviej_1.”
Earlier this month, Evans shared another post, this time congratulating Stevie on winning a Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) Award. Stevie has also been sharing pictures of Evans on his page. A few weeks ago the music producer and VH1 reality star posted a picture of them together, writing that he hopes she has “fun” on the Bad Boy Reunion tour.
Even though Stevie and Evans are not commenting on the status of their relationship, former “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada thinks they are dating. “I think this is something that’s been going on since back in the day,” she said on “VH1 Live!” last week. “They have history together from the whole Bad Boy era, I think maybe they’re just kind of rekindling a thing they had before. … I like it!”
Stevie split from his “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” co-star Joseline Hernandez in May. Shortly after their breakup, Joseline revealed she's pregnant, later adding in a Twitter post that Stevie is the father. Stevie has questioned whether the baby is his.
