‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ Star Moniece Slaughter Slams Shaquille O’Neal Pregnancy Rumor, Releases Statement
Moniece Slaughter is shutting down a rumor claiming former basketball player Shaquille O’Neal got her pregnant. The “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star revealed in 2014 that she once dated Shaq, but addressed the baby allegation on social media saying that it was impossible for her to get pregnant by the athlete.
“Let me make it clear condoms. An iud. And a vasectomy make pregnancy impossible. Meeting him in 2012 makes it impossible during a marriage,” she tweeted. “SO STOP ASKING ME.”
Moniece also commented on the rumor in an Instagram post telling fans that she was advised by her legal team to not address the “lies being told via social media” and to “let the courts deal with it.”
“No comment,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “Sad day when you’ve done literally nothing to an individual. A man at that. And he makes it his mission to do what he thinks is destroying you. But ultimately will damage the one individual who has nothing to do with any of it. My child. And if it weren’t for that, I’d let them keep it up.”
Rumors that Moniece was allegedly pregnant by Shaq started after blogger and “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast member Jason Lee slammed her on Instagram. The two started feuding because of a sex tape Jason supposedly has of Moniece. “I rarely do this anymore (although I used to enjoy it). @moniece_slaughter I don’t do the social media thing anymore but since you’re out promoting the sex tape you want the world to know about here we go,” he wrote. “As far as monetizing off your sex tape I’d rather sell the story of how you got pregnant f---ing @shaq while he was a married man.”
In a sneak peek of Monday’s episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” Princess Love meets up with Jason because she wants him to give her Moniece’s sex tape. Princess and Moniece have been feuding all season, and things escalated after Moniece bashed Princess’ friend Brandi Boyd during a listening party. According to Jason, the man in Moniece’s alleged X-rated video is a rapper.
“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” Season 3 airs Monday’s at 8 p.m. EDT on VH1.
