‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Season 7 Star Yandy Smith Shades Samantha, Erika On Twitter After Reunion Episode
Following the airing of “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 7, episode 13, “The Reunion: Part 1,” it quickly became clear that there is still plenty of tension between Yandy Smith, Samantha Wallace and Erika DeShazo.
Throughout the latest season of the VH1 Series, the three women whose children all share the same father, Mendeecees Harris, have been at odds with one another. On Monday night, Yandy continued the ongoing feud by shading the two women on Instagram.
Yandy posted a picture of herself to Instagram in which she checked her cell phone while flashing her wedding ring. “Had to get back to work after the reunion show...#themoneydontstop #1mokeydontstoptheshow #or2 #alternativefactsarenotfacts,” she captioned the picture.
Although she wrote “mokey” in her hashtag, she could have meant to write “monkey” as a way of calling the women out for their behavior on the show and what she deemed as lies.
During the reunion episode, the three women went back and forth about the origins of their relationship with Mendeecees. Erika has continuously claimed that she and the father of her child were in a seven-year relationship and traveled the world together, both Yandy and Mendeecees have denied her claims.
Instead, Mendeecees insisted that the two were just friends, took a group trip together and were only intimate once which resulted in her pregnancy. He also revealed that he cheated on Samantha with Erika, something the two women didn’t seem to care too much about seeing as they are good friends.
Things were so intense during the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 7 reunion show that Yandy’s friend Kimbella tried to fight Samantha and was removed by security. “They kicked me off the stage y’all,” Kimbella tweeted.
From the looks of the first episode, it looks like part two will be just as intense with plenty of drama.
“Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 7 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on VH1.
