‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Star Amina Buddafly Reveals Pregnancy Weight As She Prepares For Birth Of Baby Bronx
Amina Buddafly is wearing her pregnancy well. The singer and “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star has been documenting her pregnancy on Instagram by often posting photos of her growing baby bump.
In her latest update Amina is seen posing in a hooded grey dress with sneakers. She captioned the photo: “Currently 166lbs and loving it.” In an April post when she was six months pregnant, the VH1 reality star revealed that she had already gained close to 20 pounds.
Amina, and her estranged husband Peter Gunz, are expecting their second child together this month. The couple previously revealed that Amina is pregnant with a baby girl, and they are naming her Bronx. In addition to getting ready for the arrival of their little bundle of joy, Amina and Peter will also be celebrating their daughter Cori’s second birthday this month.
The former Black Buddafly singer announced she was pregnant in March during the Season 6 reunion of “Love & Hip Hop: New York.” Amina’s baby news came shortly after she admitted to getting an abortion after discovering she was pregnant earlier in the year. It also came just a few months after Peter and his ex-girlfriend, Tara Wallace, revealed they were expecting baby number three together. Tara gave birth to a baby boy named Gunner in February.
During a June interview with TMZ’s Rock Rants, Amina opened up about baby Bronx and her marriage to Peter, revealing that she’s gone through most of her pregnancy by herself because she and Peter don’t live together. She relocated to Los Angeles, while Peter stayed in New York.
“I’m sad sometimes,” she admitted. “But it also makes me feel strong. I’m OK, I can do it alone. It’s not something I wanted. But I rather this than stay where I was at, it wasn’t good.”
She also said that if things change for the better between her and Peter, she would consider getting back together with him. “I love the man, and I still say to anybody … If he were to give me what I need I would still love to be with him.”
