‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Star Cardi B Praises Ex-Boyfriend Tommy After Fighting With Baby Mother On Instagram

They may no longer be together but it looks like “Love & Hip Hop” Season 7 star Cardi B still has a soft spot in her heart for ex-boyfriend Tommy. After having out a social media feud with the mother of his child, the VH1 star said some kind words about her former beau on Twitter.

During the early hours of Monday morning, Cardi revealed that she is still on good terms with Tommy after their break up. “My ex boyfriend has always been my hardest critic for him to tell me to keep my head up,” the reality star tweeted.

Cardi went on to say that the fact that her ex is proud of her is something that makes her really happy. The star also alluded to fans that she has since moved on from her relationship with Tommy. When one fan tweeted that the two were still in a relationship, she quickly denied it.

“That’s not my babe ....My babe is this fine Jamaican brown ting,” the “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star wrote.

Cardi’s kind words about her ex-boyfriend come after engaging in a social media feud with his baby’s mother, who goes by Bando Brim on Instagram. When the female posted a photo of herself, Tommy and their son, she accused Cardi of liking the photo from her backup Instagram page.

Cardi then told the woman that she is happy for her since Tommy previously denied being the father of their child. The reality star also said that despite the split, the two still talk every day and she was well aware that the woman and her son were going to see him.

However, the woman responded by telling Cardi that her latest visit was actually a solo one and their son was not present. Cardi then responded by posting a photo of a letter from Tommy on Instagram in which he professed his love to her and expressed how much he still cares even though they are no longer together.

“Lmaaoooo you don’t wanna know what he be telling me,” the star captioned the photo. Tommy’s baby mother responded by posting an old YouTube video of a fight between Cardi B and her sister in which the reality star was jumped by a few of the woman’s friends.

Cardi B has not responded to the post.
