‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Star Peter Gunz Gives Update On Tara Wallace’s Pregnancy, His Marriage To Amina Buddafly [VIDEO]
Peter Gunz got candid in a new radio interview about his complicated love triangle with Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly. The trio's drama has played out on Season 6 of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: New York."
As previously reported, Peter and his ex-girlfriend Tara are expecting their third child together. Peter revealed on Instagram over the weekend that Tara is two weeks away from giving birth to a baby boy named Gunner. To add to the drama, there are rumors that Peter's wife Amina is also pregnant and expecting her second child with him.
In an interview posted Monday at "The Breakfast Club," Peter opened up about Tara's pregnancy, his current status with Amina and the negative comments he gets from fans.
"I always say somebody gotta get out of the circle. I ain't doing it," Peter said, admitting that he continues to deal with both women because he's in love with them.
The rapper, who has eight children, also said he wants to stay married to Amina but that he's not sure how much longer she's going to put up with his cheating.
As far as the criticism he's been getting, Peter admitted that it does bother him when fans lash out at Tara and Amina.
“They catch me on 'The Shade Room' clapping back all the time,” he said. “But it’s out of fun, because if I see somebody with a flaw, I gotta hurt [their] feelings. I gotta let these hundreds of thousands of people see me go in and hurt [their] feelings. But at the end of the day, when the baby comes, Tara’s gonna look at that baby and nothing nobody said about Tara will affect Tara … There’s a lot of hate on Tara, but she’ll be fine.”
He continued, “A lot of people are outraged [but] I don’t have no child support, none of my kids are on welfare."
Amina also recently opened up about her marriage to Peter, telling VH1 last week that she's not sure if she would ever divorce him. The former Black Buddafly singer also said fans don't get to see Peter's good qualities on the reality show.
“That’s something that’s so hard to explain because it’s not getting shown on the show, the Peter that we love," Amina said. "It’s only the Peter that f---s up and that lies, that’s all the viewers get to see, but there’s more to him. I don’t give up fighting for what I love.”
“Love & Hip Hop: New York” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on VH1.
