‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Star Peter Gunz Shares Adorable New Photo Of Baby Bronx, Gives Update On Split From Amina Buddafly
Peter Gunz just shared the cutest photo of baby Bronx! The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star took to Instagram to share a new picture of his baby girl, and also gave an update on his strained marriage to Amina Buddafly in a new interview.
On Thursday, Bossip shared three photos of Peter posing with his daughter. In the black and white images, he’s seen shirtless as he cradles the tiny infant. Peter shared one of the pictures on his Instagram page, writing a sweet message to his child. “I’m in love with The Bronx all over again. Thank you for this photo @catouellette she will cherish this one day,” he posted in the caption.
During an accompanying interview with Bossip, the VH1 reality star opened up about his relationship with Amina, as well as being a father to three young kids. Peter, who has 10 children total, welcomed a son named Gunner with his ex-girlfriend and “Love & Hip Hop: New York” co-star Tara Wallace. “I love my kids,” he told the outlet. “[Bronx] looks just like me.”
Even though Amina and Peter are separated, he said that they’re still on “good terms” and get along with each other. “She’s a sweetheart. She calls, and we’re good,” he said. “It’s sad for her, and it’s sad for me as well … but you can’t have your cake and eat it too so to speak.” He continued: “I’m here for her and the girls. I’ll be back out [in Los Angeles] in October.”
The rapper admitted that it can be tough juggling three children under the age of 2, but he said he makes it work. “I’m sure a lot of us were born and our parents weren’t ready for us financially, but you make it work. We’re figuring it out,” he said. “Nobody is on welfare. Nobody is starving.”
Amina and Peter split in April, a few months after Tara gave birth. Amina, who also has a daughter named Cori with Peter, moved to Los Angeles after the breakup while Peter stayed in New York. At the time, Amina said she wasn’t sure whether their split was for good or if they could work through their differences. “We don’t live together, and we’re not in a relationship,” she explained to VH1.com at the time. “But are we done for good? Only time will tell.”
The former Black Buddafly singer gave birth to baby Bronx last month. Peter announced the news by sharing an Instagram photo of him in the hospital with the newborn in his arms with the caption: “Welcome to Hollywood Queen Bronx. I’m in love.”
