‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Stars Remy Ma And Papoose Reportedly Expecting Baby Girl, Rumored To Announce News At Season 6 Reunion
It’s starting to sound like the Season 6 “Love & Hip Hop: New York” reunion is going to be full of baby announcements. Rapper Remy Ma and her husband, Papoose, are the latest starts expected to reveal during the two-part special that they are expanding their family.
Remy and Papoose both have children from previous relationships, but Starcasm reports that the pair is expecting their first child together. Sources told the outlet that Remy drops the news during the reunion, which taped in New York in January.
Starcasm also claims the “Conceited” rapper and her husband recently revealed they are expecting a baby girl and will name her Shamella Mackie, after Remy’s father, Shamele Mackie. So far, Remy and Papoose have not responded to the rumor.
Throughout the season, fans watched as Remy and Papoose planned their dream wedding. The couple has been married since 2008 but never had an actual ceremony because Remy was in prison. She was released in August 2014. During one episode of “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” Papoose told Remy he wanted to have more children, but she wanted to wait until after they had their wedding ceremony. Remy and Papoose had their ceremony in December, and the wedding will air March 7 on the show’s finale.
As previously reported, it’s been rumored that Amina Buddafly will also announce her pregnancy at the reunion. The singer is said to be expecting a second child with husband Peter Gunz. Earlier in the season, Amina got an abortion because of her drama with Peter and his ex-girlfriend Tara Wallace. Tara recently gave birth to she and Peter’s third child, a baby boy named Gunner, last month.
“Love & Hip Hop: New York” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on VH1.
