‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Remy Ma Pregnant Again 3 Years After Heartbreaking Miscarriage
It looks like Remy Ma and Papoose will be adding another “golden child” to their family. On Monday, the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star announced that his wife was pregnant with their second child.
Remy shares a daughter, Reminisce, 18 months, with Papoose, and has a son, Jayson, 19, from a previous relationship. Meanwhile, the “Tribute” rapper, whose real name is Shamele Mackie, has three children from previous relationships.
The 42-year-old shared the baby news during an appearance on “Out Loud With Claudia Jordan.” Papoose revealed that he has been enjoying the extra time he has been able to spend with his family.
“I love being with my family [during the coronavirus pandemic]. I get to spend so much time with my amazing wife and my amazing daughter. I’m just making the best out of it, and we’re moving forward. Some good things are coming out of this,” he explained.
“We’re going to have a new child real soon,” he added.
In 2018, Remy announced the birth of their daughter via Instagram. “The Golden Child is here!!! It’s a girl!” the “Shether” rapper wrote revealed.
The year before that, Remy suffered a miscarriage and shared the heartbreaking loss on “Love & Hip Hop: New York.” Following her miscarriage, Remy told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club that she made changes to her diet in hopes of having a full-term pregnancy.
“I lost a lot of weight prior to getting pregnant [again], so I can have a successful pregnancy. I had to keep my weight down and keep it stable for about a year. I stopped eating meat. I stopped eating carbs, cut out sugars,” she said.
Since the announcement of her second pregnancy, neither Remy nor Papoose have shared the baby’s due date.
