Nikki DeLoach, who starred in Hallmark Channel’s “Love to the Rescue” last month, is already back on the network with an all-new movie. Premiering Saturday night, “Love Takes Flight” is the 263rd Hallmark Hall of Fame movie and DeLoach’s first.

The “Awkward” alum stars opposite Jeff Hephner, who’s making his Hallmark debut with the new flick. The actor worked on the National Geographic series, “Mars,” last year and has also had roles on shows like, “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” “Code Black,” “Hellcats” and “The O.C.”

In “Love Takes Flight,” DeLoach and Hephner’s characters find love with each other in a very roundabout way.

“Divorced, single mom Lizzie Beauman (DeLoach) is an expert at juggling the demands of her busy life. Between raising her five-year-old daughter Quinn [Skylar Olivia Flanagan] and her job as administrator of the town’s hospital, Lizzie’s working at max capacity,” the synopsis shares.

“But Lizzie has one rule, the hospital never comes home with her. One day, when she’s picking up Quinn at day-care, she notices Quinn has made a book out of construction paper, ‘Mission: Find a Friend.’ Like any mother, Lizzie doesn’t like the thought her daughter is struggling to find friends, so when Quinn unexpectedly befriends a wistful widower named Walter [Tom Thon] in a grocery store, Lizzie chalks it up to Quinn's new friend mission.”

The synopsis continues: “Lizzie’s boundaries between her work and home life begin to crumble when she discovers Charley Andrews (Hephner), the brash EMS pilot she just hired at her hospital, is Walter’s son! As pressure piles on Lizzie, both personally and professionally, she will have to make a choice, maintain her cherished boundaries between work and home, which have served her in the past, or open her heart to Charley to embrace the great unknown.”

Directed by Steven R. Monroe and written by Eric Brooks, the movie’s cast also includes Bisserat Tseggai (Felicia Page), Caroline Arapoglou (Barbara Lakeview), Barbara Niven (Virginia Beauman), Nick Arapoglou (Hank Lakeview), Kwajalyn Brown (Dr. Stadler), Dwayne Boyd (Marcus), Gary Weeks (Luke Maddely), Brandon Quinn (Todd Rogers), Casey Edwards (Barista), Kelli Vonshay (Karen) and Brandon Morris (Dr. Kapoor).
