Lowe’s (LOW) is offering a discount for first responders in October as an appreciation for their service.

The 10% discount will be available Oct. 22-24 on select items in-store and online at Lowes.com by downloading a coupon and verifying frontline worker status, USA Today reported.

The discount applies to firefighters, emergency medical technicians/paramedics, police officers, 911 dispatchers, nurses, and doctors who apply for the coupon at Lowes.com/firstresponders.

Here, they will need to fill out a form to verify their eligibility as a frontline worker using an ID.me verification service.

After registering with the site, eligible first responders will receive an email from Lowe’s with the 10% discount coupon that can be used on a single full-price merchandise purchase online, in-store, or on the Lowe’s app, USA Today said.

There is a limit of one coupon per household, and exclusions do apply.

Lowe’s chairman and CEO Marvin Ellison told the news outlet in a statement, “Our nation’s first responders wake up each day with a mission to serve others. By providing this special discount, we hope to offer a gesture of gratitude and appreciation to the many brave individuals who put their lives on the line each and every day.”

The home improvement retailer will hand out an appreciation coin to the first 75 first responders who redeem the discount at each of its stores nationwide, according to USA Today.

Beyond the first responders discount, Lowe’s also offers a 10% discount every day to active military service members and veterans on eligible purchases. Those who are interested in signing up for a military discount can do so by registering at Lowes.com/military/validation.

National First Responders Day is celebrated on Oct. 28.
