‘Lucifer’
Will Lucifer (Tom Ellis) introduce Chloe (Lauren German) to his father, God Johnson (Timothy Omundson), in “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 14? FOX

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 14 will feature a highly-anticipated reunion between Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) and God Johnson (Timonthy Omundson).

One month ahead of the show’s return, FOX dropped a teaser introducing the new addition to the cast of the hit TV series. In the 40-second clip, Charlotte tells Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) that her son, Lucifer, is concocting a plan to visit his dad in Heaven. This does not make Charlotte happy or comfortable because there’s nothing she wants more than to see her son return to Hell.

The 14th episode of “Lucifer” Season 2 will pick up two weeks after Chloe Decker’s (Lauren German) near-death experience in episode 13. Immediately after she recovered, Lucifer decided to flee Los Angeles without asking permission from his loved ones. The official synopsis for “Candy Morningstar” reveals that Lucifer has cut off all communication with his family members, as well as the people at the police department.

“He materializes just in time to help solve an up-and-coming guitarist’s murder and introduces the department to a ditzy stripper named Candy (Lindsey Gort), a mysterious woman in his life. While Lucifer’s mom desperately tries to contact her son, Chloe tries to push him away,” the synopsis read.

While speaking with TV Line, co-showrunner Joe Henderson explained that Chloe will be very upset with Lucifer in episode 14. “Lucifer and Chloe are on rockier footing than we’ve ever seen them. Chloe’s confused, hurt and pissed. And she’s even more thrown when she learns where Lucifer ran off to, and why,” he said.

With this, Lucifer will attempt to mend his relationship with Chloe by proving himself to her and the rest of his friends at the police station.

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 14 will air on FOX on May 1 at 9 p.m. EST.
