‘Lucifer’ Season 2 Spoilers: Tom Ellis, Lesley-Ann Brandt And Kevin Alejandro Invite Fans To Watch Episode 16

“Lucifer” Season 2 cast members Tom Ellis, Lesley-Ann Brandt, D.B. Woodside and Kevin Alejandro are inviting the avid fans of the hit FOX series to tune in on Monday, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
A short video featuring Ellis, Brandt and Woodside was posted on the show’s official Twitter account on Friday, Jan. 13. In the clip, the trio reminded fans that “Lucifer” Season 2 will return with new episodes next week. Alejandro also hopes that fans are ready for the highly-anticipated comeback of “Lucifer” Season 2. After all, episode 16 will serve as a turning point for Lucifer (Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German). The lead character will finally learn the truth about his partner through his mom, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer).

Meanwhile, the writers of “Lucifer” Season 2 recently posted a cryptic tweet saying that episode 11 will blow the viewers’ minds. Cast member Aimee Garcia, who plays the role of Ella, is also looking forward to the upcoming episode. Even though her character won’t have that much screentime in the installment, showrunner Ildy Modrovich previously told TV Line that Ella will soon have her own comic book series.

Even though “Lucifer” Season 2 hasn’t returned on Fox, the writers of the show are already busy brainstorming for the upcoming episodes. On Friday, it was also confirmed that an interesting pitch was shared during one of the discussions, and it was so good that everyone in the room was left speechless. Last week, the writers also unveiled the title for “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 16. “God Johnson” is written by Jason Ning and directed by Sherwin Shilati. There are speculations that the installment will introduce Lucifer’s dad, God, who assumed the identity Johnson.
