‘Lucifer’
Who will make Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) life a living hell in “Lucifer” Season 2, episodes 20 and 21? FOX

The official titles for “Lucifer” Season 2, episodes 20 and 21 have just been released.

According to the show’s writers, episode 20, titled “City of Angels” wasn’t supposed to be called as such. But since it has not yet aired on FOX, they still had the liberty to change the title. There are no other details regarding the episode other than that it is directed by Mark Tonderai and written by Jason Ning and Jenn Kao.

Fans are speculating that episode 20 will see the arrival of angels who will torment Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis). Other fans think that the title simply refers to Los Angeles, the city where the lead characters and his friends are currently residing in. Previously, “City of Angels” was titled “Eenie Meenie Minie Me.”

Meanwhile, episode 21 is titled “Off the Record,” and directed by Eduardo Sanchez. The story is written by Jen Graham Imada and the teleplay is done by Chris Rafferty and Mike Costa. Details about the upcoming installment are also being kept under wraps, but some fans think that it will have something to do with a huge secret being revealed.

In other news, “Lucifer” Season 2 will have a total of 22 episodes before it wraps up. The hit FOX TV series has also been renewed for a third season and a total of 22 episodes is also expected from showrunner Joe Henderson and his team.

FOX entertainment president David Madden released a statement (via Deadline) following last month’s renewal, saying, “’Lucifer’ is one of those rare shows that starts strong out of the gate and just keeps getting better and better. Tom, Lauren (German) and the entire cast have really made these characters three dimensional, and the production team is one of the best in the business.”

“Lucifer” Season 2 will return to FOX with episode 18 on May 1 at 9 p.m. EST.
