'Lucifer' Season 5 Production Starts With A Group Photo Of Team
The early work for “Lucifer” Season 5 has begun. The writers and producers of the TV series got together for what could be the last time for the show, and lead cast member Tom Ellis joined them on the first day.
Showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson joined the writers on the first day, and they shared a group photo of them online, confirming that the script writing process of the popular TV series has finally begun.
Modrovich joked about getting back together with the team as being “back in hell.” In her tweet, the producer said that she “couldn’t be happier” about it.
The producers and writers may already have a general idea about where they want to take the show next, as they tell the story of the final chapter in the life of the Devil (Tom Ellis). The producers and Ellis got together for a drink and some “cheesy bread” last week to brainstorm ideas for the plot. A picture of that meeting was shared by Modrovich on Twitter.
Ellis too shared the group photo of the first day on his Instagram page. The actor wrote in his post that everyone in the writers’ room was excited about the possibilities for “Lucifer” Season 5, and he added that he can’t wait to see what they come up with.
While the TV series is coming to an end, the producers are open to making a spin-off series or a movie about the characters they have created. When a fan asked Modrovich on Twitter if they would consider making a spin-off series or a film in the future, the producer replied by saying “of course we would.”
With the script of “Lucifer” Season 5 still being developed there is a long way to go before the show airs on Netflix. The last season is expected to premiere some time in 2020.
