Luke Hemsworth Sighting: Actors Chris And Liam Hemsworth Pose With Brother On Red Carpet [PHOTOS]
Actors Liam and Chris Hemsworth have taken Hollywood by storm in recent years. But some of their fans might not be aware they’re not just a twosome. The Australian film stars were joined by their older brother, Luke Hemsworth, at a red carpet event Monday.
In photos obtained by Getty, Luke, 33, can be seen posing with Liam, 25, and Chris, 31, at the Warner Bros. Pictures premiere of “Vacation” at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles. The comedy, a revival of the 1983 film of the same title, stars Chris as Audrey’s (Leslie Mann) husband Stone Crandall. Liam and Luke do not have starring roles in the feature, so it appears they were present in support their sibling's latest project.
The sibling trio appeared to have a great time at the premiere. A video obtained by the Daily Mail shows the brothers laughing, smiling and joking with one another in front of the cameras. Later that same night, they were spotted walking into the “Vacation" premiere after party together.
Chris was not only joined by his brothers at the premiere. His wife, fellow actress Elsa Pataky, was also present. In several shots she can be seen wrapping her arm around her husband of four years and smiling. Elsa wasn’t the only Hemsworth better half in attendance. Luke’s also brought his wife, Samantha Hemsworth, to the red carpet premiere.
Other big names at the event included Liam’s co-stars Ed Helms and Christina Applegate. Original “Vacation” stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo, who reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold in the flick, also walked the red carpet.
While fans of the Hemsworth clan may be excited about the recent sighting, some may be wondering: who is Luke? While he may not be a well-known as his brothers, Luke is also an actor. He most recently starred in the film “Infini,” according to his IMDb profile. In 2014, he was featured in the sci-fi thriller “The Anomaly,” alongside “The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder and “Kill Me Three Times” with Simon Pegg and Teresa Palmer.
Luke has also starred on multiple TV series in recent years, including “Winners & Losers,” “Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms” and “The Bazura Project.” In what be his most memorable television appearance, Luke made a cameo during a episode of "Saturday Night Live" in March alongside Liam and Chris, who was hosting the show.
“I’m not the only actor in my family,” Chris said in his opening monologue. “I have brothers. Two of them, three of them, four, I don’t know. But they’re actors as well, so if its okay, I thought I would bring them out and share this moment with them.”
