Setapp, the subscription service for Mac apps, is launching a new plan for businesses or teams to take advantage of their popular service.

Created by MacPaw Inc. in 2016, Setapp lets users access 160 apps for a fixed monthly fee of $9.99. Subscribers of Setapp can access applications from a wide range of categories -- from productivity apps, personal finance to Mac maintenance.

Users also don't have to worry about in-app purchases and paid updates since its all tied with the monthly fee. For their new subscription package targeting companies, the fee is $8.99 per user. Setapp also offers family plans for $19.99.

What's the difference?
All the subscription packages offer the same set of apps, but they differ from how billing and administration are managed as well as the number of device licenses.

For example, the regular subscription plan for a single user includes licenses for two devices. If a Setapp subscriber chooses to pay annually, a 10% discount brings the monthly fee down to $8.99.

Subscribers going for a business account can let a maximum of four team members access Setapp for $8.99 and $7.99 for additional devices. Adding and removing users and accessing billing are all in a single panel.

Users who pay for the family plan can let up to three users access all the apps plus licenses for five devices.

Setapp apps
Some of the apps included in the service are CleanMyMac X, an app for freeing up disk space and speeding up the Mac; Folx, an app for downloading torrent files; Endurance, an app that extends battery life; Flume, a tool for downloading files to Instagram directly from the Mac; and iThoughtsX, a mind mapping app.

There are apps for bloggers and writers too. One example is Manuscripts, which is an app for writing a book and MarsEdit for creating and publishing a blog.

Developer Tools are also available like TeaCode for writing code quicker and SQL Pro Studio for managing Postgres and MySQL databases.

Some of the personal finance apps available with Setapp are Receipts for managing financial documents and Moonitor for tracking crypto investments.
