Call it iKnife or ironic (Apple cutting apple), cooking videos using MacBook Air as a kitchen knife, to cut and peel a variety of vegetables and shrimp, have become a hit on the internet.

The pointed edge of the MacBook Air, as demonstrated in videos posted on a Japanese site, can cut and peel carrots and cut apples, baby corn, mushrooms and shrimp. While it wouldn't be advisable to actually try your hand at dicing vegetables with a MacBook Air, the videos seem quite convincing.

MacBook Air, as its creators say, is sleek, durable and ready for anything. According to a CNN article, Apple PR didn't respond to their request to comment on the videos.
