After months of endless rumors and speculations, the Apple world will finally receive a new MacBook Pro. The company is expected to reveal a new 16-inch MacBook Pro this week. The company plans to end 2019 with a strong focus on Mac lines.

The news about a new Apple MacBook Pro came from Bloomberg technology reporter Mark Gurman, who has a strong track record with Apple’s rumors and updates. Gurman, the Cupertino-based company could launch a new machine as early as Wednesday, Nov. 13, with sales immediately kicking off after the product reveal this week.

Apple’s upcoming 16-inch MacBook has been in the news since February and it was later rumored to be released on 2021. Earlier reports claimed that the company was planning to release the new hardware at an Apple event in October. Unfortunately, the much-awaited Apple event in October did not happen. Instead, the company announced some private press briefings this week about the upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro device, 9to5 Mac reported.

What the new 16-inch MacBook Pro will bring to the table

The upcoming hardware will, purportedly, feature a larger higher resolution screen and will bring a revamped keyboard that designed to be more reliable than the problematic butterfly keyboard design was introduced in MacBook lines in 2016. The butterfly-mechanism keyboard has brought many technical issues such as stuck keys, repeated keystrokes, and other hardware problems.

Apple plans to replace the failure plagued butterfly keyboard design with a more reliable scissor-switch keyboard design. Aside from a new keyboard design, the new MacBook will also feature a slightly slimmer bezel around the sides of the display and a new louder speaker.

Apple will also launch a high-end Mac Pro

In addition to the new 16-inch MacBook Pro, Apple will also release a high-end Mac Pro sometime in December, just barely squeaking into the company’s promised release window. However, it’s still not clear if the company will announce the release date for the new Mac Pro alongside the new 16-inch MacBook Pro.
