‘Madam Secretary’ Season 3 Spoilers: Elizabeth Seeks Help Of A Hollywood Star

“Madam Secretary” Season 3 is on hiatus for two week but the American political drama TV series is set to return on April 9 with its final episode titled, “Good Bones.”

The “Madam Secretary” Season 3 spoiler reveals that Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) will be asking the help of Hollywood star Ashley Whittaker (Julia Nicole Schlaepfer) to convince the president of Kyrgyzstan to end human trafficking in his country.

However, the additional attention will only put an American captive at risk. Meanwhile, Henry McCord (Tim Daly) will find the bomb that the cult kept hidden, but he will discover more. He will learn that the group is planning for a deadlier attack and viewers will witness this on the next episode of “Madam Secretary” Season 3.

For fans wondering why the “Good Bones” episode was pushed back, Cartermatt explained that it was due to the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will air on the network next week. The upcoming episode will also feature Tony Award winner Cady Huffman as Jeri Whitaker, Ashley’s mom.

Although Season 3 will be airing its final episode, fans can still expect to see more of Elizabeth’s adventure because the TV show has been renewed for another season. On March 23, CBS renewed 18 series for the 2017-2018 season and Leoni’s show was one of it along with “The Big Bang Theory,” “Blue Bloods,” “NCIS” and more.

According to TV Series Finale, the third season of “Madam Secretary” is averaging 0.93 rating in the 18-4 9 demographic and 8.84 million viewers. The demo is tepid, but it has a decent total size. However, compared to its second season, the ratings are down by 23% in the demo and 16% in total viewers.
