‘Madden NFL 17’ Featuring Rob Gronkowski Release Date Looms; Digital Download Offers Super Bowl 51 Tickets

Good news expectant fans of “Madden NFL 17!” The anticipated release of the American football video game is arriving in a matter of days, specifically on Aug. 23. And for players who want early access to the EA Sports game, it is going to be available for digital download through EA Access starting this Thursday.

The latest iteration of the “Madden NFL” series, “Madden NFL 17” is going to make the wait of its fans all worth it by providing them with a chance to win Super Bowl 51 tickets for the big event in February 2017. For interested players, Xbox has explained on its official website that they need to sign up for MUT Rewards and play Draft Champions in the game via the Play First Trials on Xbox One from Aug. 18 through Aug. 22, courtesy of EA Access. Joining the Play First Trials will already give one the chance to bring home the two Super Bowl 51 tickets at stake.

EA Access has been providing players with digital access to many of EA’s best titles for some time now. The special service also enables players to get access to upcoming titles before they are officially released. Plus, EA Access members enjoy 10 percent discounts on every digital purchase they make on Xbox One. For just $4.99 per month, players can download “Madden NFL 17” starting Aug. 18, according to NESN.

“Madden NFL 17,” which is going to be available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, features New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski on the cover. It will arrive next week with a $59.99 price tag. However, Gamespot suggests that players should purchase the game from Best Buy to get a $10 coupon and a $15 trade-in value on a gift card for the game’s PS4 and Xbox One versions. For PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, players can only take advantage of the $10 coupon.

Best Buy’s deals are only available in-store, so players must visit their nearby Best Buy store to avail any of the “Madden NFL 17” promos. They should hurry since the trade-in offer already began on Aug. 7 and will wrap up on Aug. 20. So if they really want to get that $15 trade-in gift card, they should trade in a copy of “Madden NFL 16” for PS4 or Xbox One as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Gamers Club Unlocked members can get the most discounts for the game and knock the $59.99 price all the way down to just $11.49. GottaBeMobile reports that the $30 two-year subscription slashes $12 off the regular price of "Madden NFL 17" and offers $16.50 trade-in credit, a $10 trade-in coupon and another $10 discount for pre-ordered copies.
