Maddie Ziegler Drops The ‘L’ Word To Boyfriend Jack Kelly

Maddie Ziegler’s relationship with Jack Kelly is getting serious. In celebration of their six-month dating anniversary on Thursday, the “Dance Moms” alum posted a sweet message to her boyfriend on Instagram.

“6 months!!!” the 14-year-old actress captioned an image of her and Jack on her account. “I love you so much.”

Maddie’s anniversary post included a shot of her and Jack playing around with Snapchat filters, a profile image of her boyfriend and a candid snap from one of their FaceTime calls.

Jack also celebrated their relationship milestone on Instagram. “Happy 6 months my girl,” he posted late Thursday. His celebratory post included previously shared shots of the couple’s date nights, an image of Maddie sporting heavy makeup and another of her enjoying ice-cream.

The couple’s anniversary celebration comes just days after Abby Lee Miller, Maddie’s former coach and “Dance Moms” co-star, claimed to have set up the pair. “I remember the day I introduced [Maddie] to [Jack],” Abby wrote on Instagram late last month, including a throwback photo of the dancer with her now boyfriend. “Came across some old pics! This was the beginning.. Two Too Cute! Who would’ve think it? Lol! Me!” she wrote.

Maddie and Jack didn’t directly respond to the message, but did continue to post about their romance following Abby’s claims. Days after Abby’s comment, Maddie and Jack shared the same photo of themselves on Instagram, revealing to fans that they would be reuniting shortly. “See this cutie very soon,” Jack captioned his post, which showed him leaning on Maddie’s cheek as they both look sadly into the camera.

While Maddie and Jack have no problems sharing details about their relationship online, they weren’t always so forthcoming about their romance. Following Maddie’s decision to post a photo of her and Jack cuddling in a bathroom together on Instagram in January, fans immediately speculated they were dating. Two months later, Maddie appeared on Extra where she revealed that she had received strict dating rules from her mother, Melissa Gisoni.

“My mom lets me like boys now, which is good. She used to not let me, but now, I mean... It can’t be like a real [date]. I’m only 14,” she said. Maddie went on to reveal she was allowed to text boys but, “wouldn’t do anything though because I’m only 14.”

Since coming forward with the relationship, Maddie and Jack have flaunted their numerous outings on social media. It appears things are going well for the love birds, but it’s not just Maddie’s love life that is on the up and up.

On June 16, Focus Features will release Maddie’s first feature length film, “The Book of Henry.” Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay act opposite the professional dancer and actress in the project. Maddie is also releasing her second book, the first installment in a YA triology about the competitive world of dance, this fall. Maddie’s first book, the memoir “The Maddie Diaries,” is currently for sale.
