Does Maddie Ziegler Still Dance?

While Maddie no longer stars on “Dance Moms” she does appear to still practice her original craft. Maddie’s former on-screen choreographer, Gianna Martello, revealed on Instagram earlier this month that she and Maddie helped choreograph for the “beautiful students” at Cutting Edge Dance Center in Pomona, California. “We can’t wait to see this piece on stage!” Gianna wrote in the caption.

Why Did Maddie Ziegler Leave “Dance Moms”?

When Maddie, her sister Mackenzie Ziegler and their mother, Melissa Gisoni, left the Lifetime series in 2016, they made it clear they were leaving for greener pastures. After quitting the show, Maddie went on to act as a judge on Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation.” More recently, Maddie has appeared as a guest judge on Bravo’s “Project Runway” for a “dance-inspired challenge.” Of course, Maddie has also stepped outside the reality TV genre.

Is Maddie Ziegler In A Movie?

When she isn’t performing alongside pop singer Sia (more on that in a minute) she is acting on the big screen. Maddie’s “The Book of Henry” premiered in theaters in June. Though the drama had less-than-stellar reviews, Maddie is already set to appear in another film, “Sister,” alongside Kate Hudson. The teen also lent her voice to the animated film “Leap!,” which debuted in theaters in August.

Does Maddie Ziegler Have A Boyfriend?

After months of playing coy about dating, Maddie confirmed she is in a relationship with Australian teen Jack Kelly earlier this year. The two have since begun sharing day-to-day aspects of their romance online for fans to see. They most recently posted about their romance on Instagram on Tuesday, with Maddie revealing her boyfriend is back in town.

Maddie has also spoken out about her boyfriend in recent interviews. “Well, we met when we were like eight, and then years later we met again, and he’s from Australia, it was kind of funny – and now we’re just dating,” the 14-year-old told GaloreMag.com this month when asked to explain how Jack first asked her out.

How Did Maddie Ziegler Get The Sia Video?

Maddie’s breakout role in Sia’s 2014 video for her single “Chandelier” came about via a Twitter message. Maddie has said in multiple interviews that Sia initially reached out to her on social media.

“She tweeted me, and she was like, ‘I’m a big fan of the show, and I would like you to be in the video for my new song,’” Maddie told Entertainment Weekly at the time.

“I didn’t even see [the tweet]—it was my mom or someone on my team that saw it, and I was like, ‘This isn’t even real. Someone’s trying to prank me.’ So then everyone started to look into it, and believe it or not, I actually flew to L.A., like, two weeks later. It was real. I didn’t even know if I could do it, because we’re filming our show, ‘Dance Moms.’ But it was amazing.”

The rest, is music history. Maddie has since gone on to star in several other music videos for the singer/songwriter including the controversial “Elastic Heart,” “Big Girls Cry” and “The Greatest.”
