Madonna, who was recently slammed for attending a party amid the stay-at-home orders, clarified her coronavirus test results.

Madonna grabbed the opportunity to clarify the test results which came out positive after she shared an article on her Instagram regarding her $1.1 million donation for the development of coronavirus vaccine.

In the said post, Madonna said she tested positive for coronavirus antibodies. Madonna got sick while she was on her “Madame X” tour in Paris seven weeks ago along with her crew and other artists. The Queen of Pop said that at that time, they thought they only had bad flu.

Madonna cleared the issue once and for all, saying she developed an antibody for coronavirus and she’s no longer sick.

Meanwhile, Madonna had to cancel her shows in France due to the coronavirus pandemic, Economic Times reported.

After revealing that she tested positive for coronavirus antibodies, the pop icon was slammed for allegedly disobeying the social distancing protocol for partying with Steven Klein amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Photos of Madonna hugging and kissing those who attended the supposed party went viral online, which lead to people criticizing the 61-year-old singer.

Artist manager Michele L. Ruiz defended Madonna amid the public’s backlash and cleared that the party was virtual, Wion News reported.

Ruiz clarified through an Instagram post that Madonna was at home with her family and crew, who she has been quarantining with. She further stated that there were around five people who came to her house to celebrate the filmmaker/photographer’s birthday, but the same underwent quarantine for over a month already.

Previously, Madonna took to Twitter and shared a video clip of a party she hosted. It was, indeed, a party —in her kitchen.

Nevertheless, Ruiz was positive that Madonna would never put herself and children at risk.

Over 1 million people had tested positive for coronavirus in the U.S. with more than 73,000 death counts, according to the data in Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering.

Scientists all over the world have been researching to develop a coronavirus vaccine. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is one of the many foundations that announced a plan to fund research labs to find a cure for the coronavirus disease, Independent reported.

Madonna, amid the global crisis, announced that she would join the @gatesfoundation in this endeavor.
