Madonna has finally spoken up about the controversial photograph of her 15-year-old daughter smoking a cigarette. Reuters

Material Girl, the clothing line jointly run by American pop icon Madonna and her daughter, Lourdes Leon, has announced a new initiative - a major model hunt in association with Macy's.

A panel of celebrity judges, led by current Material Girl spokesperson Kelly Osbourne, will be searching the country to find the next Material Girls.

There is a material girl inside of every girl. She is brave and confident in herself and what she aspires to be, stated Kelly Osbourne.

The lucky winner will be the new faces of the clothing collection's Spring 2012 campaign. In addition to this, the winners will also receive a hefty $5,000 cash prize.

The Lucky Stars model search will launch on Wednesday, Nov.2, at Macy's Herald Square in New York and will end on Nov.21, with an announcement on www.materialgirlcollection.com.

The top contestants will have the opportunity to work with Lola at the photo shoot, be photographed by a fashion photographer, appear in a national marketing campaign and hopefully create memories for a lifetime, stated Dari Marder, Chief Marketing Officer, Iconix Brand Group.
