Jenelle Evans may have just gotten her job back.

Seven months after the "Teen Mom" star was fired from MTV, ratings for the show plummeted. TvByTheNumbers reported that the Sept. 10 season premiere without Jenelle only brought in 810,000 viewers, whereas the previous season saw 1.18 million. Now, according to Radar Online, that is potentially working in the former reality star's favor.

Now, in an effort to save the long-running show that's also produced plenty of spin-offs, the network is reportedly considering to bring Jenelle back.

"Jenelle has been talking to MTV and it has been about her coming back," an insider dished to Radar about the controversial mother of three.

For weeks now it's been rumored that the 27-year-old has been in talks with the network. Speculation first began when she was spotted arriving in New York City on Oct. 25 for an alleged meeting with the network.

"[A higher up] from MTV contacted Jenelle and requested a meeting with her," a source revealed. "They kept telling Jenelle that she is still under contract and that they wanted to talk to her about possibly returning to the show, so she flew up there."

While there has been no official word on Jenelle's "Teen Mom" status, it's easy to see why the show would want her back. Despite being fired, she's remained in the headlines for the things happening in her life (i.e. getting dropped by her makeup manufacturer and the drama with her estranged husband David Eason).

MTV may be desperate to get the OG reality star back but apparently the feeling is mutual. After losing out on her $400,000 per season paycheck, a source shared that Jenelle had a bit of an epiphany.

"It went off like a lightbulb in her head," the source told Radar at the time. "'I have this husband that doesn’t work? What in the hell am I going to do?' So, she decided to end the marriage before it is too late. There is no money left and she wants to make money again."
