When it comes to fans’ hearts, past ABC Family (now Freeform) stars Chelsea Hobbs, Neil Jackson and Erik Palladino have the power to make them or break them.

Sometimes they have a way of doing both at the same time, which was the case when these former “Make It or Break It” costars reunited for a few drinks in Vancouver and posted pictures of it for all of their fans to see.

The much-loved ABC Family series, created by the talented Holly Sorensen, ran for three seasons from 2009 to 2012 and followed the lives of teen gymnasts as they trained hard, loved hard, fought hard and cared hard. The athletes handled it all in the hopes of reaching that final goal: The Olympics. The series ended before the girls got the chance to compete at that ultimate competition and before fans could have the pleasure of witnessing it.

That’s why, any chance “MIOBI” devotees get to see the show’s stars get together, it’s both a blessing and a curse. It’s so wonderful to see that they’re all still such great friends and fun to pretend that it’s their characters who are back together, but it also always acts as yet another reminder of the fact that the show ended much too soon.

But, hey, lovers of the innovative and exceptional series will gladly take the good with the bad, especially since the former outweighs the latter by the weight of 30 gymnastics vaults. Which is why when Hobbs, Palladino and Jackson, as well as one of the “Make It or Break It” writers, Richard Register, reunited over the weekend, it was a beautiful sight.

“So a #miobi writer, two coaches and a gymnast walk into a bar... ,” Hobbs wrote alongside the photo of all of them.

It was a big show family affair. It was like seeing Hobbs’ playground-turned-pro-gymnast Emily Kmetko reunite with her coaches, Jackson’s Sasha Beloff and Palladino’s Marty Walsh. It was also like getting a peek into a meeting about how they’re going to restart Emily’s gymnastics career and talking about how they’re going to do the same for all the other Rock girls, as well. While that’s obviously not the case, it’s nice to pretend it is for a bit until Freeform decides to do what’s right and give “Make It or Break It” the Olympic movie it and the fans deserve, and which creator Sorensen has been thankfully campaigning for.

While everyone waits for that to hopefully happen, reunions like this are nice. And even though Hobbs was the only one of the four main actresses at this reunion, the spirits of the others were very close by.

During this same weekend, all four of the lead actresses – Hobbs, Josie Loren (Kaylie), Ayla Kell (Payson) and Cassandra Scerbo (Lauren) – celebrated National Gymnastics Day by posting “Make It or Break It” photos to social media, stirring up even more beyond-good memories made during the show’s reign.

“In honor of #nationalgymnasticsday, Love my #MakeItOrBreakIt sisters.. Long live #MIOBI,” Scerbo captioned her photo.

While Loren wrote: “Happy #nationalgymnasticsday from your favorite posers.”

And, of course, Kell had to get in on it.

“Okay, I couldnt be the only one NOT to post a shot with my MIOBI sisters! Love you guys!!! #nationalgymnasticsday #tbt #thepicturewasathrowback,” Kell wrote for hers.

Before posting her reunion photo, Hobbs also participated in the celebration with her gymnastics sisters.

“In honor of #nationalgymnasticsday I’m following suit and posting a #throwback for all those dedicated [expletive] gymnasts out there! Get it!!! #gymnastics #miobi #freeform #makeitorbreakit," she wrote.

But the female gymnasts of the series weren't the only ones to use National Gymnastics Day to remember all the fun they had on the show. Zachary Abel, who played male gymnast Carter Anderson, also wanted to celebrate. And he wanted to use this post to bring up the idea of a movie again, something the whole cast and all the fans should be doing every day until it actually manifests.
