Malik Obama, U.S. President Barack Obama's half-brother, celebrated the victory of Donald Trump as the president-elect Wednesday. Malik, who on Tuesday predicted the defeat of Democrat Hillary Clinton, thanked God for the business mogul's win.

"God is Great," Malik wrote on his Twitter account, later going out on a rant against Barack. He also mocked Clinton by calling her "crooked."

"Crooked Hillary has called President Trump to conceed," read one of his tweets, while another said: "Rigged system but the people have spoken! They don't want to call it!"

Malik said in July that he was unhappy with Obama's leadership and would vote for Trump in the polls.

"He appeals to me and I think he is down to earth and he speaks from the heart and he is not trying to be politically correct. He's just straight-forward," he reportedly said of Trump at the time.

Malik's rants began a day before the election when he criticized CNN for bias in covering the election and called it the "Clinton News Network." He described MSNBC as "Mainstream Network Broadcasting for Clinton."

While calling the two news networks as hypocritical, he said: "They nailed him to the cross, hung him up to dry, and pounded him to the ground but Mr.Trump showed them he's tough as nails! Wow!"
